Why Just Make a Movie when You Can Change the World!?!
College Reunion, the movie is an independent film about three women who reconnect for their 45th HBCU College Reunion.
College Reunion the Movement has a mission that is three fold. Our goals are to:
1. Uplift black women
2. Spotlight HBCUs
3. Support students in K-12 by uplifting nonprofits whose work ensures that students get the resources they need to one day have their own College Reunion.
There are many wonderful and necessary non-profits providing services that nourish and support students of all ages and at all stages of their academic career. In addition to your support of the film College Reunion, check out these great non-profit organizations and learn more about how you can support their work.
While You wait for the Film Premiere… Search and support HBCU alumni led businesses through our comprehensive and searchable database of HBCU alumni in various industries. Meet, network, and support these HBCU Alums.
There are 121 (active and closed) Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the United States. These schools of higher education were established before the Civil Rights Act of 1964. They were designed to educate students of African decent, who would not otherwise have access to education. Take a look at these schools.
