Our Purpose
The motto of We the People is envision, design, create a better world. At We the People, students work on grand challenges that we face in the 21st century, such as climate change, inequality, poverty, and sustainable cities. Our youth need and deserve an education that prepares them to act and think locally and globally, and to collaborate capably. In fact, youth around the country and the world are already taking action to create a better world.

Our mission is to empower this generation with the knowledge, practice, and tools to radically change the world for the better.
Our democracy depends on public schools graduating citizens with the skills, knowledge, and tools to upend systemic inequality and create a sustainable planet for our shared future.
