How college reunion is more than a movie
It's a Movement
College Reunion is an independent movie and mission driven, social justice movement. The goal of the narrative is to uplift black women and highlight the rich history of HBCUs and their accomplished alumni.
As the filmmaking team works on the movie we want to make the fictional college reunion a reality for more Black and Brown students in America. This is why part of our mission is to support students in K-12. We are doing this by uplifting nonprofits whose work is specific to students in their formative years.
The College Reunion telethon was a virtual event held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 on the College Reunion Youtube Channel. The objective of the event was to raise the necessary funds to go into production on College Reunion and activate the mission aligned movement by supporting students in K-12. THIS IS MORE THAN AN ONE DAY EFFORT. CHRONIC ABSENTEEISM IS A VILLAGE LEVEL PROBLEM. HELP US GET STUDENTS BACK IN SCHOOL TODAY!
